The e-Government Laboratory of the University of Athens (UoA/eGovLab) is a research unit within the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and a leading academic R&D group for e-government in Greece. UoA/eGovLab brings together technological skills and know-how from multiple areas of R&D in Information and Communication Technologies (web services and applications, network and security architectures, data and knowledge engineering, software engineering, business process modelling, human-computer interaction) with a focus on deployment and integration of e-Government services. The UoA/eGovLab group, with a current staff of about 10 doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, also provides business planning and operations management know-how for e-Government service schemes, drawing from experience in deployment projects with the Greek public sector.
